Thank you for your interest in the Virginia Positive Behavior Support Training Cohort. In recent years, the entire curriculum and endorsement requirements were completely revised.
The current cohort runs through May 2026. At this time, there are no defined timelines for the next cohort.
The structure of the cohort including cost and mode of learning (in-person, hybrid, or in-person) can vary by cohort. The application process is designed so that you, your family, and your administrative supervisor have a complete understanding of the commitment involved to ensure your eventual endorsement as a PBS Facilitator.
General requirements include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and a minimum of 3 years in the human services/developmental disability field.
